Criteria for Admissions
- A terminal illness with a prognosis of 6 months or less, if the illness runs its normal course.
- No plans for further aggressive or curative diagnostics or therapies.
- Patient is agreeable to hospice care.
How to Refer
- For patients who live in the Hospice of the Piedmont service area, including Albemarle, Augusta, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson and Orange Counties, call 434-817-6900.
